Course Description
Program Description SAMC has a strong and vibrant Theatre Department in which students are expected to critically engage issues of faith and art in every class, at every stage of their development. Our small class sizes mean the instructors really get to know the students and the students form friendships that last a lifetime. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting is designed to train professional actors. Students take a foundation in liberal arts, including introductory acting classes, and then audition into the program at the end of first year. Intensive actor training includes courses in voice and movement, auditioning, screen acting, and Shakespeare, as well as significant performance opportunities.
